Originally from Aceh, Indonesia, I received a Medical Doctor (M.D.) from Syiah Kuala University and a Master of Science in Basic Medical Science and Biomedicine (Biochemistry) from the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Currently, I'm a senior lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Malikussaleh in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia.
